I also asked Eric to take a photo of our garbage/recycle insert - I didn't have one to post for you on Friday. I think I am going to love this feature. So here it is...
Eric painted the downstairs hallway the same colour as the rest of the basement - it looks so much better already without that panelling and with some colour.
Home Depot finally came through and received our bathroom vanity and sink.
So that is ready for installation now too.
Lastly we wanted a pop of colour somewhere what with the kitchen and living room all tones of creams, browns and beige's (aka neutral). So we decided on orange for the entrance way. Not many people we showed it to liked it - one can tell when we get comments like "well you can always change your mind and paint over it". Let us know what you think!
Walls still wet - we really need to replace the front door curtain now. It is 17 years old!
Dry paint and the view towards the kitchen.
I think it goes well with the new kitchen cupboards and banister.
Stay tuned for next week - because it is about to get exciting. They are templating for the granite on Tuesday.
I love the orange!!!
ReplyDeleteBut then again we painted our bathroom orange in our first house we had in Creston.
We also got the comments of "well it is nice, but not something I would put in my house" lol
Love how it is all coming together, can't wait to come see it in person,
Leanne
